Owl Encounter
Our owl encounter gives you the opportunity to get up close and personal with our beautiful and popular tawny owl, Freddie. We offer one to one or small group encounters in your own home for all the owl lovers out there, with the potential to handle him on your own gloved fist with the close guidance of his handler, allowing a rare chance to see the true beauty of these incredible creatures and have a go at handling a bird of prey in a responsible manner. Freddie also brings a fantastic talking point to a variety of settings, from care homes and social clubs to guest appearances at a birthday party or family event. School Educational Visits
(Schools, Colleges) Our bespoke school visits can cover a variety of topics within the school curriculum in the company of our incredible British wildlife ambassadors including reptiles, amphibians and birds to ensure a unique and unforgettable educational wildlife experience. They can be catered towards classes of any age, but of no more than 30 class members. We do our best to involve everyone in our educational visits and can guarantee that all can have a close encounter with the animals. However handling of animals cannot always be guaranteed for everybody as it is entirely dependent on the species we bring and the behaviour of the animals (and the children) on the day. Our British wildlife experiences are the perfect way to start up discussion and bring great enjoyment to those in a care or nursing setting. We have much experience in this sector with our main animal handler having worked in the care industry for several years. Our display of British wildlife is the perfect addition to your event. Our animal ambassadors can be viewed in their temporary naturalistic setups, enabling visitors to get up close to our rarely seen native wildlife which will provide a fantastic attraction to your event.
Our knowledgeable handlers will constantly oversee our animals whilst engaging with visitors, ensuring we maintain high welfare standards whilst igniting a passion of British wildlife across all ages.

PLEASE NOTE: There may be occasions in which some animals will not be able to join us on our visits, whether that be down to the natural cycles of the species (eg. snakes shedding, breeding behaviour) or they just don’t want to come out that day! If that is the case we will do our best to bring an alternative ambassador.
Our reptiles and amphibians are unavailable from roughly October – March as they are in brumation (a deep sleep) through the colder months.
